West Midlands drug policy recommendations have been praised by Government Ministers, Cross-Party Parliamentary Groups, national treatment agencies and senior police officers.
Megan Jones is Policy Manager for the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, leading on criminal justice and substance misuse. TheIn the West Midlands, Meg is leading a team to deliver the PCC’s eight-point plan, transforming the region’s response to substance misuse. Meg is currently working towards an MSc in Public Management from the University of Birmingham, has a Masters of Arts in International Relations with distinction from Keele University and undergraduate degree in History and International Relations. During her career, Meg has worked in both the public and private sector. Prior to her current role as Policy Manager, Meg worked as Regional Policy Officer for the four Police and Crime Commissioners in the wider West Midlands region, the first role of its kind in the country. Meg has been praised for her ability to work cross-party, developing evidence-based policies with a focus on delivery and impact.
